Royal Lytham & St Annes in Lancashire, England, will host the 50th AIG Women's Open Championship from July 29 to August 2, 2026.
A field of 144 professional and leading amateur golfers will compete for the Smyth Salve cup.

The venue is staging the championship for the sixth time in its history.
Established in 1976, the event has grown into one of the five major championships in professional women's golf.
The course has previously hosted The Open 11 times, the Ryder Cup twice, as well as the Senior Open, the Walker Cup, and the Amateur Championship.
Transport and Access
Organizers have set up free public parking on Preston New Road near the main entrance, accessible via black and yellow AA road signage.

Spectators are encouraged to use public transportation, walking routes, or bicycle parking facilities near the venue entrance.
Rail service to St Annes-on-the-Sea station leaves visitors roughly a 20-minute walk from the facility.
Local bus transit includes Blackpool Transport's Service 11 and Stagecoach's Service 68, both stopping at Lindsay Avenue five minutes from the entrance, alongside connectable bus services from Blackpool Town Centre, Lytham, and Preston.
Fylde Council has enacted temporary traffic and parking restrictions across nearby roadways, including Links Gate, St Thomas' Road, and South Promenade, running through August 2.

The public right of way across the golf course, the South Promenade green, and recreational grounds off Lima Road remain closed through August 3 to accommodate event parking.
