Monasterio drove a 2-0 fastball from reliever Jose Suarez over the wall, scoring automatic runner Romy Gonzalez.

The blast capped a strong offensive night for Monasterio, who collected three hits along with teammate Caleb Durbin.
Jahmal Jones also contributed a solo home run for Boston.
The Red Sox offense overcame a stretch of stranding six runners in the three innings leading up to the 10th.
Boston's win came a night after its 10-game road winning streak ended.
Athletics catcher Jonah Heim had three hits, including a home run for the 500th hit of his career.
Lawrence Butler hit his sixth homer of the season, a solo shot in the fifth inning off Boston starter Patrick Sandoval that gave Oakland a 2-1 lead.
