In Ashley Cross, police detained a suspect following reports of indecent exposure on July 22.
“A male was detained matching the description and arrested under suspicion of indecent exposure,” a spokesperson for Poole Police said.
Investigating officers urged local communities to allow official proceedings to move forward without interference.
“The investigation is ongoing and we ask members of the public not to speculate at this time,” the spokesperson added.
Subsequent actions in Poole included issuing Section 35 dispersal notices for drug use, addressing a shoplifting incident, and arresting a wanted individual who failed to attend court.
Teams at Tower Park also apprehended a shoplifting suspect who was wanted on prison recall.
In Hamworthy, police deployed a dog unit to search a series of gardens and arrest a suspect wanted on prison recall and suspicion of multiple burglaries.
“The individual made off from officers into a maze of gardens and a containment was put into place,” a spokesperson for Poole Police said.
Police confirmed that multi-departmental sweeps successfully brought the containment operation to a close.
