BMW Motorrad has unveiled a highly exclusive limited-edition version of its flagship M 1000 RR superbike.
The release commemorates the 115th running of the Isle of Man TT mountain course race.

Only 115 units of the M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT will be produced.
Five examples are allocated for the UK market at a price of £43,990 each.
The machine features a bespoke British Racing Green Uni Matt paint finish.
Specific fairing graphics map the Isle of Man layout, with left-hand corners on the left side and right-hand turns on the right.
Additional visual distinctions include a matte carbon airbox cover carrying the TT logo.
The bike also gets an Alcantara seat, a black swingarm, a satin chrome painted aluminum fuel tank, and sequential milled numbering on the top yoke.
Each customer receives a certificate of authenticity, a rear paddock stand, assembly stand mounts, an M race cover kit, and a branded environmental motorcycle mat.
Mechanical specifications remain unchanged. The 999cc ShiftCam inline-four engine produces up to 214 horsepower.
Advanced electronics include slide control and an aerodynamic carbon fiber front fairing with downforce-generating winglets.

BMW has a long historical connection to the Mountain Course.
The manufacturer secured its first victory in 1939 when Georg Meier won the Senior TT on a supercharged RS 255 Kompressor.
Modern racing successes include Michael Dunlop winning on an S 1000 RR in 2014.
