The event was initially delayed on Friday after heavy downpours washed out practice and qualifying.

Organizers moved the start time up Friday evening, but zero laps were completed just past 7 p. m.

NASCAR rescheduled the race for 8 a. m.

However, heavy fog and continuing rain showers cloaked the track, pushing the start time back to 9 p.
m. EST Saturday night.
The race is now scheduled to run immediately following the NASCAR O'Reilly event.
Fans holding tickets for either race will be granted admission to both, with coverage on FOX Sports 1.

The delays disrupted schedules for drivers Ross Chastain and Connor Zilisch, who are competing in all three weekend races.
Richard Childress Racing unloaded its cars Saturday morning into a garage area mourning the sudden death of 41-year-old NASCAR Cup star Kyle Busch.
Due to Friday's qualifying cancellation, the starting lineup was determined by previous performance metrics.
The No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet, originally scheduled for Busch, was placed on the pole because of his victory the previous weekend.
