New York Giants linebacker Abdul Carter publicly questioned teammate Jaxson Dart on social media after the quarterback introduced Donald Trump at a campaign rally on Friday in Suffern, New York.

“Thought this sh! t was AI, what we doing man,” Carter wrote on X Saturday morning.

The rally, held at Rockland Community College, was in support of Republican congressman Mike Lawler’s reelection campaign.

It marked Trump’s first rally in New York since the 2024 election.

Dart addressed the crowd, saying, “Big Blue Nation, it’s a pleasure to be here. Go, Big Blue!”

He then introduced Trump as “the 45th and 47th President of the United States.”

Trump praised Dart, calling him a “future Hall of Famer,” a “beautiful guy,” and saying he has “a lot of talent.”

Later Saturday, Carter clarified the situation: “Me & JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as Men.

Yall can keep yall narratives.”

Other NFL players also weighed in. Saints defensive end Cam Jordan posted, “sounds bout ole miss,” referencing Dart’s college background.

Giants offensive tackle Jermaine Eluemunor dismissed concerns about team unity, writing, “Locker room is fine. Focus on New England.”

The Giants are transitioning under new head coach John Harbaugh after a 4-13 season. Dart started 12 games last season after replacing Russell Wilson.
