Veteran utility man Chris Taylor has reversed his decision to retire from baseball, just one day after announcing his departure from the sport.
The 35-year-old was instead placed on the minor league injured list by the Los Angeles Angels' Triple-A affiliate, the Salt Lake Bees, after sustaining a fractured left forearm.

Taylor suffered the injury on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, when he was hit by a pitch during a game.
His retirement was officially listed on the minor league transactions log on Friday, May 22, prompting tributes from Major League Baseball teams, including his former club, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
