The San Antonio Spurs evened the NBA Western Conference Finals at two games apiece with a commanding 103-82 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.

A key defensive adjustment limited Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to 19 points on 6-of-15 shooting, while Oklahoma City's bench production was neutralized.

Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 33 points, shooting 11-of-22 from the floor and 3-of-7 from three-point range, adding eight rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and two steals.

The 22-year-old center capped a 22-point first half with a buzzer-beating half-court shot, giving San Antonio a 50-38 lead.

A 15-5 run in the third quarter then broke the game open.

Devin Vassell and Stephon Castle each contributed 13 points for the hosts, while De'Aaron Fox added 12 points and 10 rebounds, snapping Oklahoma City's perfect road record in the postseason.

Spurs defenders Dylan Harper, Vassell, and Castle applied perimeter pressure, and the team's defensive scheme held the Thunder to 18% shooting from three-point range.

Alex Caruso, Cason Wallace, Jaylin Williams, and Jared McCain combined for just 12 points after scoring 68 in Game 3, allowing San Antonio to nearly match the Thunder bench 30-32.

With Wembanyama on the floor, the Spurs have outscored Oklahoma City by 50 points in the series, compared to being outscored by 46 points during his minutes on the bench.

The Thunder, who posted an NBA-best 64 regular-season wins ahead of the Spurs' 62, forced 17 turnovers but played without injured scorer Jalen Williams.
