Feyenoord has appointed Said Bakkati as their new assistant coach, the Dutch club announced on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Bakkati signed a three-year contract, returning to the Rotterdam-based club after a previous stint during the 2019/20 season.

He replaces Etiënne Reijnen, whose contract expires at the end of the current season.
Bakkati's Coaching Background
Bakkati brings experience from assistant coaching roles at Jong Ajax, Reading, PEC Zwolle, Cincinnati, and ADO Den Haag.
He is currently working with Jong Oranje and will maintain his duties with the KNVB until early October before focusing entirely on Feyenoord.
His arrival comes as Feyenoord prepares for the Champions League campaign, having secured second place in the Eredivisie.

"I think it's very nice to return to Feyenoord," Bakkati said on the club's website.
"I have seen the club make great strides in every aspect in the years after my first period here.
I am proud to now be part of the next phase the club is entering and can't wait to get started."

During his initial spell at Feyenoord, Bakkati arrived alongside former head coach Jaap Stam and later completed the season under Dick Advocaat after Stam resigned early in the term.
