The Los Angeles Dodgers secured a 4-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium, despite losing left fielder Teoscar Hernandez to an injury and seeing a combined no-hit bid broken up in the eighth inning.
Teoscar Hernandez exited the game in the second inning after straining his left hamstring while running out a ground ball to shortstop.

Hyeseong Kim replaced him in left field, marking Kim's first MLB appearance at that position after primarily playing middle infield this season.
The injury to Hernandez followed a pregame roster move where the Dodgers placed utility player Kiké Hernandez back on the injured list due to a left groin strain and a significant oblique tear.
Infielder Alex Freeland was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City to replace him, starting at second base on Wednesday night.
Manager Dave Roberts expressed disappointment regarding Kiké Hernandez, who had just been activated on Monday after missing the first 53 games of the season following offseason elbow surgery.
"It's a bummer.
He's missed a lot of time and worked hard to get back, and added that spark that we had hoped," Roberts said.

The manager noted that the injury would sideline the veteran utility player for well over a month but remained optimistic about a eventual return.
"It's not a season-ending thing, so that's something to be hopeful with, but yeah it's just a bummer," Roberts said.
