The 26-year-old Japanese slugger went 2-for-4 with a home run, an RBI, three runs scored, a walk, and a stolen base in a 15-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins at Rate Field in Chicago.

Murakami's milestone blast came in the bottom of the seventh inning.
With one out and no runners on base, he drove a 93.9 mph low-and-outside fastball from Twins reliever Travis Adam over the left-center field wall.
Statcast data tracked the home run at 432 feet. The hit would have cleared the fence in all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums.
Before the home run, Murakami struck out and flew out against Minnesota rookie left-handed starter Connor Prielipp.
He then drew a walk in the fifth inning and hit an opposite-field single against reliever Eric Orze in the sixth.

The performance extended Murakami's home run streak to three consecutive games. He homered in every matchup of the three-game series against the division rivals.
With 20 home runs, Murakami reached the milestone faster than Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees.
