The Los Angeles Dodgers dominated the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-0 on Wednesday night at Chase Field.

Shohei Ohtani delivered a stellar performance on the mound, throwing six scoreless innings. He allowed only two hits and struck out six batters.

This outing lowered his major league-best ERA to 0.74.

Ohtani improved his record to 6-2, having allowed just one earned run across 24 innings during his current four-game winning streak.

Offensively, Ohtani hit three singles, reached base five times, and scored one run. However, he experienced early control issues.

His first warmup pitch sailed into a group of photographers, for which he apologized. He also nearly hit three different batters within the first three innings.

Despite these struggles, Ohtani remained nearly unhittable. He did not allow a hit until Gabriel Moreno doubled with two outs in the fourth inning.

Ohtani later induced an inning-ending double play after Geraldo Perdomo singled in the sixth. He threw 89 pitches before being lifted after a long top of the seventh.

Offensive Surge

The Dodgers' offense started in the second inning when Kyle Tucker hit a two-run home run into the Chase Field pool off Arizona starter Zac Gallen.

Freddie Freeman extended the lead in the third inning with a two-run single. Max Muncy followed with a run-scoring single.

Alex Freeman sealed the final scoreline in the seventh inning with a two-run single, putting the Dodgers up 7-0.

Los Angeles combined for 16 hits to secure their 16th win in 19 games.

Arizona struggled, recording only two hits. This result marks their fifth loss in six games, halting momentum from a previous five-game winning streak.
