Top-seeded Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend won the French Open women's doubles title on Sunday, defeating second seeds Anna Danilina and Aleksandra Krunic 6-2, 7-5 on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
The victory marks the third Grand Slam major for the Czech-American duo, who previously won the 2025 Australian Open.

For Siniakova, it is her 11th Grand Slam women's doubles title and her fourth at Roland Garros.
She also earned her 37th career WTA doubles title, surpassing Sara Errani and Su-wei Hsieh.
Townsend, a finalist at the 2023 French Open with Leylah Fernandez, secured her first championship at the clay-court major.

In the semifinals, Siniakova and Townsend beat fourth seeds Luisa Stefani and Gabriela Dabrowski 6-0, 6-1.
They also defeated Magali Kempen and Andreja Klepac 6-1, 6-3 in the quarterfinals.

Krunic and Danilina reached the final after a 7-5, 6-2 win over Shuko Aoyama and Liang En-shuo.
