"We think it really supports our depth going into what we believe is going to be a really important season," Seca said.
The club confirmed both athletes will integrate into the core roster immediately as the organization targets a return to the postseason.
"Braydon just has too much talent to turn down," Seca said.
Seca emphasized that the coaching staff is prepared to oversee the transition of both teenage forwards into full-time major junior roles.
"We've got some other options in the USHL and we didn't want to let him do that," he said.
Dunn, who was named OHL Prospect of the Week in January after scoring seven points in two games, said his brief stint with Sarnia last winter provided critical preparation.
"Through my small amount of time with the team last year, I was able to learn a lot and gather the knowledge I needed to get to the next level," Dunn said.
He also participated in the 2026 GOJHL Top Prospects Game prior to finalizing his commitment.
"Looking forward to getting things going and can't wait to get started in Sarnia," Dunn said.
Seca concluded that Dunn's developmental trajectory and off-ice maturity validated his readiness to transition directly into the standard player system.
"I am truly honoured to sign with such a great organization," Dunn said.
"Since selecting him in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection, we've been impressed with the way he has developed and challenged himself.
