Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has made a bold prediction about teammate Stephen Curry: the two-time NBA MVP could transition to professional golf within three years.
Green shared his assessment during a recent episode of his podcast, "Why is Draymond Green Talking About Football Podcast," released on June 6, 2026.

The evaluation is based on a personal round Green played with Curry at the California Golf Club, where the point guard did not record a single mistake through the first nine holes.
"He didn't get a bogey till the ninth. He didn't miss a single shot until the ninth or tenth hole.
It was like par, par, birdie, par, birdie. He's incredible," Green said.
Curry's golf credentials extend beyond that round.
He won the 2023 American Century Championship, a celebrity tournament, and maintains a scratch handicap between +1 and +2.
He has also competed in the Korn Ferry Tour's Ellie Mae Classic twice and recently played a round with two-time U.
S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau at Lake Merced Golf Club for a YouTube series.
Green acknowledged the difficulty of professional golf and drew a parallel to fans who claim they could play in the NBA.
"I don't take the sport for granted. I know how hard it is.
So I don't want to disrespect those guys. Just like I hate when people say, 'Yo, he could, or I could play in the NBA.'
