"He offers a lot as a player at the highest level and is a defender of the highest quality," Tuchel said of Stones.
Team Over Individuals
When asked about Jude Bellingham's role, Tuchel rejected the idea that England relies on any single player.
"We have a lot of proof we can win football matches without Jude," he said, adding that "Jude will not win this World Cup alone."
Tuchel highlighted the depth of the squad, noting that big players like Harry Kane, Declan Rice, and Bukayo Saka may have to accept bench roles at times.
"Some of them will be on in the end. Some of them we will need in extra time.
Some will take a decisive penalty," he explained.
