"I took a quick picture of him just cause I was proud of him," Susan said.
Chris reiterated his concerns regarding the safety of visiting spectators attempting to navigate the city during game days.
"I'm like, 'oh my gosh, there comes this guy wearing this jersey,'" said Chris.
He noted that the intense fan environment permanently altered his perspective of visiting the historic arena.
"He zoomed past us, and he was heading toward Bryant Park, and I was like, I kind of felt sorry for him because he was headed into a hornet's nest," Chris said.
The couple remains hopeful for a competitive turnaround as the series progresses toward its final games.
"Over there, we can't wear our jerseys because we know we're going to end up paying a price for it.

"I wish it didn't have to be that way," Chris said.
The pop star briefly commented on her group's enthusiasm during a halftime interaction with media personnel before returning to her courtside seat.
"Trust your instincts," Susan said.
The couple emphasized that intuitive decisions are crucial when managing safety in dense stadium environments. "Your instincts are usually right," Susan said.
Swift and her companions continued to cheer alongside prominent television personalities as the home team attempted to rally in the final quarters.
"We are going to get the energy up, it's on us!" Swift shouted to Vogue.
