Before his passing, Bryant filmed his documentary, Kobe Bryant's Muse, to share the mindset behind his athletic success.
"There's a choice that we have to make as people, as individuals.
If you want to be great at something there's a choice you have to make," said Kobe Bryant.
His philosophy, often referred to as the Mamba Mentality, emphasized relentless effort, discipline, and completing tasks before celebrating victories.
"Rest at the end, not in the middle," said Kobe Bryant.

The basketball star is survived by his wife, Vanessa Bryant, who has remained a resilient public figure and philanthropist while managing the profound loss of her husband and their teenage daughter, Gianna Bryant.

"My brain refuses to accept that both Kobe and Gigi are gone. I can't process both at the same timeā¦" wrote Vanessa Bryant.
She expressed the immense emotional pain of the tragedy through her social media channels.
"It's like I'm trying to process Kobe being gone but my body refuses to accept my Gigi will never come back to me.
It feels wrong.
Why should I be able to wake up another day when my baby girl isn't being able to have that opportunity?!
I'm so mad. She had so much life to live," wrote Vanessa Bryant.
