The multi-stage market maneuver allows Real Madrid to secure a substantial financial profit.
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old midfielder continues his development under manager Cesc Fabregas for the upcoming Champions League campaign.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano detailed the initial structure of the buyback options.
When Real Madrid sold the academy graduate to Como in 2024 for €6 million, they included a 50 percent sell-on right and three buyback clauses.
"When they sold him, they had three buyback clauses: €8 million this season, €9 million next season, and €10 million in 2027," Romano stated.
Prior to the activation, Paz expressed total satisfaction with his current environment in Italy. "Como and the player are waiting for the decision.
Nico Paz is very comfortable, very happy with Cesc Fabregas, and not in a hurry," Romano specified.
