The closures heavily affect the Finnish border, shutting down five checkpoints including Vyborg, Vyartsilya, Lyuttya, St. Petersburg-Finlyandsky, and Svetogorsk.
This leaves Finland with no operational rail connections to Russia.
The restrictions also closed the Pechory-Pskovskiye crossing to Estonia and the Pytalovo crossing to Latvia, as reported by Euronews and The Moscow Times.
