The Los Angeles Dodgers erased a six-run deficit by scoring 12 consecutive runs to defeat the San Diego Padres 12-7 on Thursday night at Dodger Stadium.

Dalton Rushing fueled the comeback by matching his career highs with four hits and four RBIs, including a two-run home run in the second inning.

Kyle Tucker also equaled a career best with four hits and reached base five times, while Andy Pages tied the game with a two-run double during the fourth inning.

The victory marks the eighth win in 10 games for Los Angeles and their largest comeback since trailing by six runs against the St. Louis Cardinals in 2022.

San Diego's losing streak extended to a season-high six games, three of which have occurred against the Dodgers.

Los Angeles starting pitcher Roki Sasaki surrendered six runs and three home runs over three innings, but the bullpen allowed only one run for the remainder of the contest.

Will Klein earned the win after delivering two scoreless innings, while Wandy Peralta took the loss for San Diego after allowing four runs in the fourth inning.

The Padres initially built their lead through early home runs from Manny Machado, Jackson Merrill, and Jake Cronenworth.

In the fifth inning, San Diego catcher Freddy Fermin exited the game after being struck on the mask by a foul ball.

Right-hander Michael King is scheduled to start for the Padres against Dodgers right-hander Shohei Ohtani in the second game of the series on Friday.
