"I'd have been gutted to have missed a winner for Archie Watson, but I'd have loved for him to have had a Royal Ascot winner, even if I wasn't on it, because I'm looking at the long term," said Doyle.

The jockey expressed gratitude for the opportunities provided by her primary racing connections throughout her competitive career.

"We need a good season to help us have some nice two-year-olds next year when hopefully I'm back to ride," said Doyle.

Doyle acknowledged that the break allowed her to contextualize her rapid rise and sustained success in the racing industry over recent years.

"Archie has been great to me and I was willing his horses on," said Doyle.

Despite the competitive urge to constantly chase the next victory, the career pause forced a shift in her athletic mindset.

"Watching Ascot actually made me appreciate that I've done alright," said Doyle.

She concluded her career reflection by recognizing the statistical significance of her multiple victories at the Royal meeting.

"I've had six winners at Royal Ascot and, when you stand back and look at the bigger picture, you realise how hard it is to win there," said Doyle.

Doyle reiterated that taking a step back allowed her to evaluate her professional trajectory with greater clarity.

"It made me really appreciate the chances I've had," said Doyle.

The continuous drive for improvement often obscures past milestones for elite sportspeople, according to her assessment.
