Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first on a pitch with some grass covering.

Joseph removed opener Nishan Madushka and then dismissed Dinesh Chandimal for just one run, caught at short mid-wicket off a half-volley.
At the time of writing, Sri Lanka were 25 for two in the morning session.
Opening bowler Jayden Seales supported Joseph well, bowling consecutive maiden overs that kept the scoring rate in check during the first eight overs.

Team Changes and Series Context
Sri Lanka made three changes to their lineup, bringing in Lahiru Udara, Prabath Jayasuriya, and Kasun Rajitha.
West Indies also adjusted their squad: wicketkeeper-batter Shai Hope returned from injury to replace Joshua de Silva, while fast bowler Anderson Phillip came in for veteran Kemar Roach, who was ruled out with a hamstring niggle.
The home side entered the match with strong momentum after winning the series opener by an innings and 217 runs.
