The 31-year-old versatile defender leaves Manchester City after six successful seasons. He joined the Premier League club from Bournemouth in 2020 for €45 million.
During his time at the Etihad Stadium, Ake made 177 appearances and won 12 major trophies.
According to Football Today, the player sought a new challenge in Turkey after his stint in England.
Fenerbahce executive Cihan Kamer confirmed the acquisition during a broadcast on Fenerbahce Radio. “We have successful center backs, but we were missing a left-sided center back.
After extensive negotiations, we’ve added our brother—one of the world’s top players who has won over 20 trophies—to our roster.
