Criticism and Concerns

However, critics raised objections regarding community involvement and potential tax impacts on local residents.

"They're not even following traditional development process.

They're not engaging the local community," said Frank Ramirez, former chief of staff for KCK Mayor Christal Watson.

Political candidates and local developers questioned the fairness of the tax boundaries planned for the project.

"We've talked to the neighborhood associations. We've talked to a lot of community members.

We've heard from the city and even some state representatives about this site," said Erik Murray, a developer running for the U.

S. Senate.

"So where do we dump it? We dump it on Wyandotte County.

And that's not fair," Murray said.

Meanwhile, fan surveys highlighted public sentiments regarding the potential move away from Arrowhead Stadium.
