The 24-year-old utility player, who can operate across the front line, becomes the first summer departure from the English League One champions.
Ring is slated to immediately feature in a weekend friendly match for his new club against Linfield.
During his tenure with Lincoln City, Ring accumulated 49 appearances after joining from AIK Stockholm in August 2024.
Despite contributing critical goals during the 2024/25 campaign, an early injury and subsequent loss of form limited his selection opportunities under manager Michael Skubala last season.
Lincoln City sporting director Jez George addressed the transfer, noting the necessity of the move for the player's development.

"Erik needs a fresh start to have the opportunity of regular game time that we cannot offer him," George said.
"We can look back on a variety of reasons why this hasn't happened over the past two years for Erik at Lincoln City, but it is far better to look forward and wish Erik every success in his future career.
This feels like best for all parties and Erik leaves with everyone's respect and our sincere best wishes."
The AIK academy graduate brings a record of 17 goals and 14 assists across more than 150 senior career matches.
