Portsmouth has secured a transfer agreement to sign Serbian striker Marko Milovanovic from Spanish club Almeria, the club announced on July 4, 2026.
The 22-year-old forward is expected to bolster Portsmouth's attack for the upcoming English Championship season.

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano and Meridian Sport, the transfer fee is between €5 million and €6 million.
The deal also includes a 15 percent sell-on clause for Almeria.
Milovanovic is set to sign a three-year contract with an optional one-year extension.
One of Portsmouth's Biggest Signings in Years
As reported by Mozzart Sport, this transfer ranks among the most expensive acquisitions for Portsmouth since the 2009–10 season, when the club signed Peter Crouch from Liverpool.

Almeria prioritized selling the forward this summer to generate revenue after failing to secure promotion to La Liga.
Milovanovic originally moved to Spain from Partizan Belgrade in 2022 for €3.5 million. He scored three goals in 35 appearances for Almeria.
He regained form during a loan spell at Portuguese club Alverca last season, netting 10 goals in 32 matches.
Portsmouth finished 18th in the Championship last season but aims to challenge for a promotion playoff spot in the new campaign.

With this move, Milovanovic joins fellow Serbian players Mihailo Ivanovic, Mirko Topic, and Nikola Jojic in the English second tier.
