"My whole story is very genuine. It's very close to my heart.

I'm not trying to be anyone who I'm not. I'm not trying to stray from my values.

There's pressure in everyday life, and even more so as a competitive athlete.

I think in that regard, everybody, all of you guys probably, you have had to find your way to work around pressure.

It's no different with me," said Eala.

Upcoming Challenge Against Swiatek

The victory set up a tactical showdown with Swiatek, whom Eala previously defeated at the Miami Open last season before Swiatek answered with a win in Madrid.

"I think it's going to be tough for me. I'm going to try to make it tough for her, as well," said Eala.

Eala expressed readiness for the impending battle against the six-time Grand Slam champion on Saturday.

"I'm expecting a great challenge. But I think I'm ready for it," said Eala.

Following the conclusion of her match, Eala turned to the stands to express gratitude toward the traveling fans waving national flags.

"It's absolutely incredible. Maraming, maraming salamat," said Eala.

Defending champion Iga Swiatek acknowledged the unique difficulties Eala poses on grass after concluding her own second-round victories over Taylor Townsend and Karolina Pliskova.

"I don't particularly know her game on grass. Obviously, you can watch a little bit.

But I know how she plays because we've played already. She has a tricky game.
