Wigan Warriors winger Nathan Lowe collapsed and lost consciousness on the touchline after suffering a severe leg injury during the Magic Weekend match against St Helens at Hill Dickinson Stadium on July 5, 2026.
The incident occurred just before half-time in what was only Lowe's second Super League appearance for the Cherry and Whites.

Referee Chris Kendall halted play for several minutes as medical staff attended to the player.
Lowe sustained a suspected ruptured hamstring after being bundled into touch by several St Helens defenders.
Medical staff initially helped him to his feet, but he fainted and lost consciousness twice while being escorted along the sideline.
Paramedics treated him before he was carried down the tunnel on a stretcher.
Broadcaster Sky Sports later confirmed that Lowe passed out due to a sudden drop in blood pressure as he was being helped from the field.
Prior to the injury, St Helens led 8-6.
Wigan eventually rallied to win the match, which also saw Daryl Clark and Ethan Havard depart earlier for head injury assessments.

National World reporter Drew Darbyshire shared his perspective from the stands on social media. "Looks pretty grim for Wigan youngster Nathan Lowe.
He is assisted from the field by a couple of members of staff after landing awkwardly.
Sad blow for the young winger, who came in to replace Noah Hodkinson for this game," Darbyshire posted.
Wigan Warriors updated fans on X during the stoppage, stating: "After a short stoppage whilst Nathan Lowe receives medical treatment, the winger is stretchered off the field."
St Helens expressed their well-wishes for the young player immediately after he was withdrawn. "Nathan Lowe sadly has to come off due to injury.
We hope the young player is on the mend ASAP," the club stated.
