The carrier will provide combined regular passenger and cargo services under regional bilateral agreements.
Approval Process
The National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) and the National Air Transport Directorate issued favorable reports after Avianca met all legal, technical, and safety requirements under Argentine Aeronautical Code Law 17.285.
The agreement expands on bilateral understandings signed between Argentina and Colombia on February 22, 2018, and April 30, 2025.
These agreements aim to improve South American regional connectivity and logistical alternatives for import and export operations.

Seasonal Strategy
Parallel to this expansion, Avianca launched its mid-year high-season strategy with over 71,000 flights and 12.5 million seats across 160 routes.
The seasonal plan includes reactivating direct flights between New York and Pereira, alongside adding frequencies connecting Central American and Colombian hubs to destinations in the United States and Europe.
David Alemán, sales director for Avianca Colombia and South America, stated that the airline offers a wide connectivity network and a differential service proposal to meet seasonal demand.
Avianca's current operational fleet consists of 140 Airbus A320 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
