Badenoch dismissed the entire mid-term election procedure as a mere distraction from the fraud allegations.

The Liberal Democrats, the Green Party, and Restore Britain have also formally ruled out entering the parliamentary race along the northeast coast.

The sole exception is the satirical protest group, the Monster Raving Loony Party, led by comedian Jon Harvey under the pseudonym Count Binface.

According to political scientist Casper Kirkels, the widespread boycott by mainstream parties represents a deliberate strategy to undermine Farage's potential victory.

"Ze hopen dat die verkiezing zo genant wordt dat hij het niet kan claimen als een overwinning van het volk op de elite," said Kirkels.

Kirkels told Nieuwsuur that Farage's return to parliament will legally allow the fraud investigation to resume against him.

A guilty verdict would trigger yet another mandatory by-election in the Clacton district.

"En dan zal het veel meer gaan over: heeft hij de regels nu overtreden of niet?" said Kirkels.

The political analyst noted that such a scenario would significantly restrict Farage's ability to control the public narrative surrounding the investigation.
