Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly turned 54 on July 8, 2026, as news of his upcoming induction into the ICC Hall of Fame emerged.
The ceremony is scheduled for July 11, 2026, according to reports.

Ganguly, who lives in a 48-room ancestral mansion in Behala, Kolkata, valued at Rs 40 crore, will join the elite list of cricketers.
Sehwag's Tribute
Former teammate Virender Sehwag paid tribute on social media, recalling Ganguly's iconic shirtless celebration on the Lord's balcony during the 2002 NatWest Series final.
"There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who wear shirts.
And those who take off their shirt and make history," Sehwag wrote on X.
