Serbian forward Dusan Tadic has announced his departure from United Arab Emirates club Al-Wahda, becoming a free agent after a single season.
The 37-year-old veteran made the announcement via Instagram on July 8, 2026, ending his stint with the four-time Emirati champions.

Tadic joined Al-Wahda in the summer of 2025 following a two-year spell with Fenerbahçe.
During his time in the UAE, he registered five goals and 20 assists across 42 official appearances, including 25 league matches, and helped the team secure two trophies.
"Mijn tijd bij Al-Wahda is voorbij," wrote Tadic.
"De twee trofeeën die we samen hebben gewonnen, zullen altijd speciaal blijven, en ik ben dankbaar voor de ervaringen en de mensen die dit hoofdstuk onvergetelijk hebben gemaakt."
He thanked the club and management for their support and understanding, which made the transition possible.
Speculation about Tadic's next destination includes a potential return to his youth club Vojvodina Novi Sad or a reunion with Edin Dzeko at newly promoted Schalke 04.
Other UAE clubs have also reportedly shown interest in the attacker, who has surpassed 800 professional appearances and earned 111 international caps.

While Tadic was heavily linked with a return to Ajax last summer before choosing Al-Wahda, a return to the Amsterdam club as a player appears unlikely.
However, the former Ajax captain has previously expressed a strong desire to transition into a coaching role at the Dutch club.
