Blackpool FC is set to receive a financial boost following Kyle Joseph's permanent transfer from Hull City to Middlesbrough.
The 24-year-old striker completed a four-year deal with the Championship side on Friday, July 10, 2026, for an undisclosed fee.

The move returns Joseph to the Championship after Hull City earned promotion to the Premier League last season.
Blackpool included a sell-on clause when they sold Joseph to Hull City for £2.5 million, according to the Blackpool Gazette.
Joseph spent 18 months at Bloomfield Road after joining from Swansea City in the summer of 2023.

His time at Blackpool saw contrasting fortunes: he scored once in 30 appearances under Neil Critchley, then netted seven goals under Steve Bruce.
He later moved to Hull City, where he recorded eight goals and five assists in 46 Championship appearances last season.
An injury prevented Joseph from playing in Hull's playoff final victory over Middlesbrough at Wembley Stadium in May.

Now, Joseph will remain in the second tier with Middlesbrough instead of joining Hull's Premier League campaign. Blackpool's sell-on clause ensures they benefit financially from the transfer.
