The new C-SUV will be built at the Melfi plant in Italy, using the STLA Medium platform. It will offer multi-energy powertrains, including hybrid and fully electric options.
Design and Positioning
The latest teaser shows the rear of the vehicle, highlighting broad shoulders, steeply raked rear glass, and horizontal LED taillights that stretch across the tail.
An earlier 3D mockup revealed a low, athletic silhouette with sharp styling cues.
Alfa Romeo says the C-SUV was designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo in Turin.
It will slot above the Junior in the lineup and compete with models like the Cupra Formentor, Audi Q3 Sportback, and BMW X2.
According to Quattroruote, Stellantis Enlarged Europe COO Emanuele Cappellano described the C-SUV as embodying "a true Alfa Romeo in character and style" and called it "truly beautiful."

Potential Dodge Connection
Stellantis has not confirmed whether the new Alfa will be sold in North America.
However, Dodge's recent product plan included a model called GLH (Goes Like Hell), which teased a crossover-like hatch.
That vehicle could be related to the Alfa C-SUV, giving the design a second life in the U.

The Tonale, which was rebadged as the Dodge Hornet in North America, was discontinued in January 2026 after a four-year run.
Tonale production at the Pomigliano d'Arco facility is expected to end in November 2027, aligning with the new model's launch.
