Municipal emergency crews continue to work alongside public safety partners to restore access across impacted neighborhoods.

Local resident Sean Carriveau recounted navigating the severe weather conditions. "I was on Prospect when I saw everything just go," Carriveau said.

"I saw the, there's a bus with some power lines on it, I saw that happen. I got down here, there was just trees, everything was everywhere."

Another resident, Angela Dontje, assisted neighbors immediately after the storm passed.

"The neighbor had his brand-new Silverado pinned underneath this tree, and I pulled it off with my Jeep and the winch just to get it out of the way," Dontje said.

Commercial properties across the region sustained significant structural impact.

Jerry Manderfield, owner of the destroyed Manderfield Bakery on Plank Road, expressed relief over the safety of those inside during the storm.

"This can be replaced. We had people in the building that could have died in there," Manderfield said.

He confirmed plans to rebuild and reopen the establishment.

Regional officials opened shelters at Christ the Rock Community Church, The Elks Lodge, and Calvary Bible Church to assist displaced residents.
