Following the insolvency of Rivoli and a holding company governing eight remaining businesses two weeks ago, Van der Most's assets now consist almost entirely of real estate.

Multiple auctions throughout September will process the remaining property holdings.

Van der Most, once ranked among the wealthiest Dutch citizens in the Quote 500 with an estimated net worth of 75 million euros, acquired a former waste processing site in Rotterdam in 2012 to develop Rivoli.

He invested over 60 million euros of his own capital, but continuous project delays led the municipality of Rotterdam to pull the plug, prompting a major lender to order its sale.

Real estate developer Wim Beelen purchased the Rotterdam site at auction and reopened a portion as Spelen bij Beelen.

Van der Most personally conducted the official opening ceremony for Beelen's new park last week.
