CEO Addresses Market Reaction
Chief Executive Officer Gio Albertazzi appeared on CNBC's "Mad Money" to address the sell-off, attributing the revenue miss to multi-phased project execution and temporary supply chain bottlenecks rather than weakening demand.
"This is a temporary issue," Albertazzi said. "Nothing has changed in the long term of our trajectory."
He noted that the company raised its full-year sales guidance as delayed projects progress and new manufacturing capacity becomes available.

"What we've done with the rest of the year, taking our sales up, more than compensates this timing element in the second quarter," Albertazzi added.
"We believe that this is a timing issue ... and we believe in a very strong second half."
Vertiv, which manufactures power and cooling equipment for data centers and industrial facilities, maintains a growing order backlog and expects robust demand for artificial intelligence compute capacity.
"The industry is very strong. Our pipelines are very, very strong," Albertazzi said.
