Korda’s swing has earned admiration from golf legends, including six-time major champion Lee Trevino.
Trevino praised her swing publicly ahead of the 2022 PNC Championship, describing it as impressive even among many male players he has competed with.
"I’ve played with a lot of guys in my time. Let me tell you, I’ve never been so impressed by anyone as this lady right here.
I’m telling you, these boys better be happy you’re on the LPGA," said Trevino.
Royal Lytham’s challenging layout, with numerous bunkers, will test players’ swings and temper under pressure during the Women’s Open.
Korda aims to claim her first title at this major event, where she previously finished second in 2024 at St. Andrews.
