"Her shoulder got taped up until the mid-arm and unfortunately … the referees concluded that they changed her morphology, which is against the rules, and therefore disqualified her."
He noted that officials could not precisely define the morphological violation. "But they weren’t able to articulate what that exactly was because it’s a grey area.
You cannot measure what a morphological change is," said Korf.
"We don’t agree with it, but unfortunately their decision is final."
Boxing Bronze for Trainor
In boxing, Australian fighter Paul Trainor secured a bronze medal in his Games debut. He lost his 80kg semifinal match against England's Dimeji Shittu.
"I probably go ta little reckless in the last round just swinging for his head but that's what needed to happen," said Trainor.
"You kind have to throw defence to the wind and look to take one or two to give one and just hope you're hitting him harder than he's hitting you."
Trainor acknowledged the tactical approach of his opponent, who took control early in the bout.
"I've been on the other end when you've won two rounds and you just go for a walk he doesn't wanna take the risk and lose his chance at a gold medal," said Trainor.
"I understand it, it's part of the sport. You can't take anything in the ring personally, it's all just business."

Long Jump Qualifiers
In other events, Australian long jumpers Brooke Buschkuehl and Delta Amidzovski qualified for the women's final. They finished first and eighth respectively.
