He described the news as "partly a healthy distraction, partly healing," and said it was "partly kind of in that 'full cycle' category, in a weird way."
He noted that expecting the child redirected the family's focus during their grieving process.
"It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness," he said.
The couple had intended to grow their family, though the timing occurred slightly sooner than anticipated. "We’re super-excited.
It was sort of planned, I should say," said Osbourne.
He expressed gratitude for how the pregnancy unfolded following his father's passing. "It was maybe a little earlier than expected.

But it’s definitely something that we were wanting to pursue and somehow it happened, miraculously," he added.
