Career Milestone and Financial Reward

By advancing to the main draw, Samuel guaranteed himself a payout of €87,000 (approximately £75,200).

The achievement represents a significant milestone for Samuel, who will compete in an ATP Tour match for the first time at Roland Garros.

Over the past 12 months, the British player has climbed from outside the world's top 1,300 to a career-high ranking of 159th, following four ATP Challenger Tour titles.

Samuel's path to the main draw included a first-round win over seventh seed Martin Damm of the United States, followed by a 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 victory against former world number seven David Goffin in the Belgian's farewell appearance at Roland Garros.

"First of all, it was an honour to play against David in his last Roland Garros," Samuel said.

With his successful qualification, Samuel is projected to rise even higher in the rankings.
