Honda has revealed a major facelift for the City sedan in India, giving the subcompact model a more aggressive design and upgraded technology.

The front end now features slimmer headlights connected by an LED strip above a honeycomb grille, borrowing cues from the larger Accord and Civic.

The chrome bar has been removed, and the Honda badge sits lower on the nose.

Other exterior updates include more angular front bumper air intakes, redesigned taillights with clear lenses and new LED graphics, and a restyled rear bumper with a diffuser.

Honda also added Crystal Black Pearl paint and new 16-inch five-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Interior and Technology Upgrades

Inside, the City gains a larger 10.1-inch infotainment display, replacing the previous 8-inch unit. The dashboard layout remains unchanged, making the new screen appear slightly aftermarket.

New features include ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera.

Higher trims add a sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging, an eight-speaker audio system, Ivory leather upholstery, and Level 2 ADAS.

Powertrain options carry over unchanged.

The 1.5-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC gasoline engine produces 119 hp (89 kW) and is paired with a six-speed manual or CVT with paddle shifters.

The e:HEV hybrid delivers a combined 125 hp (93 kW) and comes exclusively with an e-CVT.

The facelifted City starts at ₹11,99,900 (approximately $12,500) for the entry SV trim with the gasoline engine and manual gearbox.

The top ZX+ hybrid variant is priced at ₹21.00 lakh ($22,000).

This is the second facelift for the fifth-generation City, which has been on sale since 2019.
