Middlesbrough skipped regular practice routines during the legal deliberations, limiting players to light jogging and basic passing drills.

"We tried to keep the players here but it's been impossible to train properly," said Hellberg.

The squad is highly motivated to maximize this unexpected opportunity to reach the top tier of English football.

"On Tuesday about half the squad did some passing drills and on Wednesday we did some light jogging," reported Hellberg.

Middlesbrough defender Luke Ayling noted the squad had to overcome significant psychological hurdles to remain prepared during the off-field drama.

"We're preparing hard now but it's been very difficult," said Hellberg. The Middlesbrough squad has regained full focus and is energized ahead of the high-stakes match at Wembley.

"I shouted at the referee from the stands, I spent time with my son, I drank more than one beer," reported Hellberg.

The confirmation message that the club was definitively headed to London triggered immense celebration among the players.

"It was nice," reported Hellberg. The team is determined to secure promotion for the club after navigating the unpredictable playoff hiatus.

"It was a very nice meal," said Hellberg. Ayling expressed that the sudden shift in circumstances required strong mental resilience from the entire team.

"It still doesn't feel quite real," said Ayling.
