Auckland FC will host Sydney FC tonight at Go Media Stadium in the first A-League Men grand final ever held in New Zealand.
The match is expected to draw a sell-out crowd of nearly 28,000 supporters.

The expansion team reached the championship decider in just its second season after expanding stadium capacity to meet intense ticket demand.

Auckland FC Chief Executive Nick Becker highlighted the club's rapid growth and deep community ties.
"They're all of Auckland. They genuinely are," Becker said.
The club added extra seating after 15,000 member tickets sold out instantly, with the remaining general allocation gone within hours.
Becker noted that last season's semi-final loss fueled the team's motivation.
"I think sometimes you need to go there to lose it and to know how bad that feels," he said.
The team defied external expectations during their run, with Becker stating, "Everyone wrote us off. No one said that we could win in Adelaide."
The grand final follows Wellington Phoenix FC's 3-1 loss to Melbourne City FC in the women's decider last week.
Becker linked the milestone to surging grassroots football engagement across New Zealand.
"The participation rates in this country are mad. Off the charts," he said.
The club prioritized community outreach through school and club visits, building emotional connections.
"Those little moments create emotional connection along the way," Becker explained.
