Campos Racing driver Alisha Palmowski claimed her first F1 Academy victory of the season in Montreal on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

The Red Bull-backed British driver started from pole position and dominated the race, winning by a massive 10.1-second margin.

That margin is the largest winning gap in F1 Academy history.

Palmowski also secured pole position for both the Opening Race and Feature Race during Friday's qualifying session with a lap time of 1:38.466.

Rookies Megan Bruce and Mathilda Paatz finished second and third respectively, earning their first podium finishes in the series.

Race Highlights

The race began with drama as championship leader Emma Felbermayr stalled on the grid from fourth place.

She dropped to the back of the field but recovered to finish tenth.

Ava Dobson suffered a puncture after contact with Esmee Kosterman on the opening lap and was forced to pit immediately.

Behind Palmowski, a fierce battle unfolded for the remaining podium spots.

Bruce defended her position from Payton Westcott, whose podium hopes ended with a five-second penalty for an incorrect rejoin at the final chicane.

Westcott later ran through the grass and dropped down the order.

Paatz capitalized on Westcott's error to challenge Bruce for second place, setting the fastest lap of the race at that point with a 1:40.476.

Despite pressure from the German rookie, Bruce held on to secure the runner-up spot.

Rafaela Ferreira finished fourth, ahead of Danish driver Alba Larsen in fifth.

Ella Lloyd impressed for Rodin Motorsport, climbing ten positions from sixteenth on the grid to finish sixth. Kaylee Countryman took seventh ahead of Nina Gademan.

Lisa Billard showed strong pace in clean air to set the ultimate fastest lap of the race with a 1:39.155, despite earlier front wing damage from contact with Larsen.
