Players and Coaches Share Their Thoughts
Lyonnes defender Ingrid Engen expressed her enthusiasm about competing in the prestigious final, which takes place in her home country.
"A very special day for me but also for the whole team.
To be in a Champions League final is the highlight of your career, so I am here to enjoy," Engen told BBC Sport.
Engen noted that while game preparation is crucial, numerous unpredictable factors can influence the final outcome.
"When you are in a final you prepare as good as you can but a lot of things can move it one way or another.
I believe a lot in our plan of the game and right now we need to go out there and give everything we have," she said.
The defender remains determined to assist her squad despite the personal significance of playing a major final in Norway.
"Right now I am trying to focus on the game, we have a big job to do, but it's something I have been dreaming about, so I just want to help the team," Engen added.
