Defending women's doubles champion Jasmine Paolini has withdrawn from the Roland Garros doubles tournament due to a foot injury, tournament officials confirmed ahead of her opening singles match on Monday, May 25, 2026.
The Italian sustained the injury during the Italian Open, forcing an early exit from that event.

She remains scheduled to compete in the singles draw as the 13th seed.
Doubles Partner Change
Paolini's regular partner, Sara Errani, will stay in the doubles bracket. Errani has paired with Austrian teenager Lilli Tagger, who is coached by former Italian player Francesca Schiavone.
The withdrawal ends the defending championship duo's run after a successful 2024 season, during which Paolini reached both the French Open and Wimbledon singles finals alongside her doubles achievements.
Paolini enters the singles competition following a round of 32 loss at the Italian Open against Elise Mertens.
That marked her fourth consecutive clay-court tournament exit at that stage.

First-Round Singles Matchup

Yastremska enters the tournament after winning the Parma Ladies Open title in Italy last weekend, defeating Barbora Krejcikova in straight sets.
Statistical records for Paolini in 2026 show a 64.2% service game win rate and a 44.4% break point conversion rate across all surfaces.
Yastremska has recorded 123 double faults in 2026 while winning 61.2% of her service games.
