Buick has revealed the first images and details of the all-electric Electra L7 sedan in China, less than a year after introducing the range-extender version.
Fast Charging and Long Range
The Electra L7 EV uses an 800-volt electrical architecture that supports 6C charging speeds.

Its lithium-iron phosphate battery pack, sourced from SAIC, can theoretically charge at six times its capacity.
The sedan is powered by a single electric motor delivering 378 hp. Buick claims a driving range exceeding 435 miles (700 km) based on China's CLTC cycle.
For comparison, the range-extender model uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 154 hp, paired with a less powerful electric motor adding 238 hp.

Design and Interior
Visually, the EV version is nearly identical to the EREV model. It features striking headlights, LED DRLs, a roof-mounted LiDAR, flush door handles, and several intricate wheel designs.
Inside, the Electra L7 offers a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central infotainment display, metallic speaker grilles, and wireless phone chargers.
Buick has not yet announced pricing for the EV.

The EREV model currently starts at 173,900 yuan ($25,600) and tops out at 219,900 yuan ($32,300).
