Feyenoord is working to sign veteran goalkeeper coach Carlo l'Ami to fill a vacancy in its technical staff ahead of the upcoming Eredivisie season, according to reports from Feyenoord TM and FR12 on June 8, 2026.

Rigaux, who is quickly assembling the first-team staff before pre-season training begins, considers l'Ami an experienced candidate and a familiar face.
The two previously worked together at Club Brugge in 2022.
L'Ami is currently under contract at Saudi Arabian club Diriyah SC, where he has been employed since December.
He possesses an extensive history in Dutch football.
The veteran coach established a major reputation during his long tenure at Ajax between 2007 and mid-2020.

Before his successful stint in Amsterdam, l'Ami started his coaching career at Excelsior in 2003, right after ending his professional playing career.
The move would mark a return to De Kuip for l'Ami, who previously served as Feyenoord's goalkeeper coach between 2004 and 2006.
His history with the Rotterdam club also extends to his playing days.
The former goalkeeper transferred from Excelsior to Feyenoord for the 2001/02 season, ultimately appearing in three official first-team matches before retiring two years later.
